The Ojai Arbolada was one of Ojai's first developed subdivisions. It was designed and developed by Edward Libby around 1922. In the beginning the original price of a lot started at $10,000 and sales were slow. It was not until 1958 that the subdivision really took off and many of the homes there were built. The subdivision is unique in that each home enjoys from 1/2 to 2 acreas and the area is covered in native Oaks trees.
Today the Arbolada is considered one of the high end neighborhoods for the City of Ojai. Prices begin at $1,200,000 for a fixer. The highest sale in the neighborhood was $5,400,000 in March 2008. The average sales price in around $2,000,000.00
There are usually no more than one or two homes available for sale at any given time.
