Rancho Matilija is a gated community located about four miles from downtown Ojai. Each home in this unique area has from three to five acres of land. This is a very quiet and peacefull country neighborhood with tree lined streets where most homes enjoy views of the surrounding mountains and hills. This is a highly restricted area with an owners association. Homes range from 3000 to 6000 square feet in size. Home values range for $1,200,000 to $3,000,000 with and average sale price being $1,800,000. There are usually never more that one to two homes for sale in this neighborhood. Most homes have a guest house. With the proper corals you can have a horse on some of the parcels. Most people do not have horses.
